Hello everyone,
I just tried out a slightly different workflow for a short 3D animation and would like to hear your opinions on it.
For the first step, I created a source image using Gemini. Then I converted this image into a short animation using Leonardo AI.
Here is the result:
I'm particularly interested in how you would rate the animation from a 3D/animation perspective.
What I find particularly striking is the question of how well the original design is preserved during the movement. With such image-to-video processes, small changes to shapes, details, or movement sequences can quickly occur.
Therefore, my questions are:
- Does the movement seem somewhat natural to you?
- Where do you notice the biggest weaknesses?
- How do you assess the consistency of the character and details during the animation?
- Would you use such a workflow more for initial ideas and previsualization, or also for finished short animations?
- What would you then manually correct to make the result significantly cleaner?
I'm just starting to try out the workflow and therefore welcome critical feedback. I'm particularly interested in what an experienced 3D/animation user would do differently.![]()
