Probleme mit Cameras

    ich habe da eine ganze Reihe von Kamereinstellungen für ein bestimmtes Projekt gemacht.


    Jetzt hat jemand gemeint, die müsse man in einer Gruppe zusammen fassen, damit nicht viele Cameras im Szene-Tab rumliegen.
    Tja ...


    nur wenn man das macht, dann verlieren die Kameras ihre Positionen und zeigen Unfug an. Es verschiebt sich (bei meinen Tests) die X-Achse und mehr und es ist nicht mehr rückgängig zu machen.


    Nur 2 Wege.
    a) man gruppiert sie halt nicht was eben blöd ist
    b) man speichert sie als Scene Subset, was aber dann den Nachteil hat, dass man eben kein rotes Camera-Icon, sondern ein grünes "Set"-Icon im Content hat.


    kann man dieses Problem irgendwie lösen? Andere machen es ja auch irgendwie.

    Wenn du alle Kameras auswählst und dann eine Gruppe erstellst, werden die Kameras ohne irgendeine Verschiebung in dieser Gruppe zusammengefasst. Habe ich gerade ausprobiert, funktioniert.


    Aber warum speicherst du nicht jede Kamera als einzelnes Preset? Normalerweise hat man ja nicht alle Kameras gleichzeitig in einer Szene, sondern man wählt eine bestimmte. Und dann sollen sich die User das mit der Gruppe selber so einrichten, wie sie es haben wollen.

    das ist natürlich auch eine Überlegung wert, aber sobald ich die Kameras als Camera-Preset speichere, stimmt das alles nicht mehr.
    Keine Ahnung warum. Ich muss die Kameras als Scene-Subset speichern und dann über den DB-Editor umwandeln.
    Ich habe jetzt diesen Rat befolgt und es klappt ganz gut:


    Mario Busch: Try Save As>Scene Subset and tick just the cameras. It should work as expected.
    Mario Busch: While you save the cameras as a scene subset, you categorize the preset as Camera preset when building metadata for them. I am glad that worked!
    Markus Ba: but in the camera folder there is now a green "SET"-Icon instead of a red "CAMERA"-Icon. Can i change this anyhow?
    Mario Busch: With the file visible in Content Library select Content DB Editor in the Panel Menu. This will open the Metadata editor. There you can select the file and change its Type and set the Category. In this case choose Type: Preset>Camera and set Files/Categories to the root /Default/Cameras/

    Mario Busch: That's it. If you want, click in the Compatibility tab, select your file and right-click over. Choose "Add Compatibility to Selected File(s)". In the list search for Streets of Asia 2 and select it. Just select the Root, not any Sub-Compatibility. Now, when you have any prop of Street of Asia 2 selected in the Scene pane, you will get the Camera preset showing in the Smart Content pane in Cameras category.
    Markus Ba: thanks. I did so, but there is nothing in the SmartContent / Cameras - Tab when i have selected the Streets in the Scene-Folder
